Roof leaking? Independent waterproofing test, without stripping
A ceiling stain that grows after every rain. New waterproofing that already leaks. Three quotes, each for a different job. The real question is always the same: where exactly does the water get in, and does it need a local repair or a whole new roof?
We are among the very few in Greece who carry out High & Low Voltage testing on bitumen membranes and waterproofing layers.
What the test does, in plain words
It finds holes, tears and open seams in membranes, even when they are invisible to the eye, without stripping the waterproofing. High Voltage is used on dry surfaces and Low Voltage on wet ones, so the test can be done right after rain, when the problem shows.
When it's worth it
-
A top-floor ceiling stain that grows after rain.
-
New waterproofing that leaks.
-
Before accepting new waterproofing, before tiles or insulation go on top.
-
Before choosing between contractors' quotes.
-
A dispute with a contractor about who is responsible.
-
Large roofs on hotels, commercial and industrial buildings.
Why independent
We don't install waterproofing. We find and mark the failures, and you decide what repair you need. We used the same test on the roof of the new wing of Agios Andreas Hospital in Patras.
What you get
-
The failure points marked on site, with photos.
-
A clear view of whether a local repair is enough.
-
A written technical report for your contractor or insurer, if needed, agreed in advance.
