Pool leak detection in Greece
A pool always loses some water to evaporation, especially in wind and summer sun. When the level drops faster than that, or the auto-fill never stops, something is leaking: the shell or liner, a skimmer, a light or a return fitting, or the pipework between the pool and the plant room. We find where, so the repair is done once and in the right place.
First, a simple test
Place a bucket of water on a pool step, with the water level inside the bucket matching the pool. Mark both levels and check after 24 hours, with the pump running as usual. If the pool has dropped more than the bucket, it's a leak, not evaporation.
What we look at
-
The pool shell, tiles or liner.
-
Skimmers, lights, returns, main drains and other fittings.
-
Pressure and suction pipework, including runs under decks and paving.
-
Balance tanks and the plant room.
We use hydrophones, membrane leak detectors, inspection cameras and ultrasonic equipment, chosen for each pool.
Villas, rentals and hotels
For holiday homes and rental villas the best time is before the season, so the repair is finished before guests arrive. For hotels we plan the work around operations. We have worked with hotels and resorts in Halkidiki, the Peloponnese and Thessaly.

FAQ
Does the pool have to be emptied? In most cases no; the inspection is done with the pool in use. If a case needs something different, we tell you before we come.
When is the best time? Autumn to spring, so any repair is done before summer.
Do you also repair the pool? No. We only diagnose, so our findings are impartial. Your pool technician does the repair.
